Philipp brings extensive experience as a lawyer in international law firms and as in-house counsel, most recently serving as the regional General Counsel for a U.S. technology company in the EU Acting as a true business partner, we support our clients with practical, immediately actionable advice, efficient structuring of their legal function, and hands-on risk management.

We advise start-ups, scale-ups, and established companies across information technology, consumer goods, and the regulated deep-tech sector. Our work focuses on commercial transactions—including SaaS and IP licensing—intellectual property management, and regulatory compliance, covering data protection (especially GDPR), ESG-related requirements, procurement processes, complex permitting procedures, as well as building in-house functions including legal operations and applications of legal AI.

Philipp holds a doctorate from Bucerius Law School and an LL.M. from Georgetown University in Washington, DC. He also earned an MPhil in Climate Science from the University of Cape Town. Philipp was admitted to practice law in Germany in 2013.
