Philipp brings extensive experience as a lawyer in international law firms and as in-house counsel, including as General Counsel for a Swiss-American deep tech start-up and as EU General Counsel for a listed U.S. technology company. Acting as a true business partner, we support our clients with practical, risk-appropriate and actionable advice, efficient structuring of their legal function, and hands-on risk management.

We advise start-ups, scale-ups, and established companies across information technology, consumer goods, and regulated industries in their day-to-day challenges and in building their legal function to scale with the business. Our work covers commercial transactions, including SaaS and IP licensing, intellectual property strategy and management, regulatory compliance, covering data protection (especially GDPR), ESG-related requirements, procurement processes, complex permitting procedures, as well as building in-house functions including legal operations.

Philipp holds a doctorate from Bucerius Law School and an LL.M. from Georgetown University in Washington, DC. He also earned an MPhil in Climate Science from the University of Cape Town. Philipp was admitted to practice law in Germany in 2013.
